What if I’m having trouble getting training to work?
First follow these steps to try to resolve the problem:
> Make sure your internet connection is working
> Clear your browser's cache, where it's temporary internet files are stored, and then try again.
> If using a VPN (virtual private network) connection, check with your employer’s IT department. A VPN connection can block access to even the most trusted websites. You may first need to establish an internet connection outside of your employer’s VPN to successfully complete training.
If these steps do not solve the problem, gather the following information and contact your manager:
> Type of device you are using [Example: MAC computer or Samsung tablet]
> You computer’s operating system [Example: Windows 10]
> The browser you’re using and its version [Example: Safari 8]
> Type of internet connection [Example: At work, Wi-Fi]
> Any known internet restrictions at your current location [Example: Work blocks video content]
How long does it take to complete a lesson?
Each standard eLesson will generally take from 15 to 30 minutes to complete depending on the topic. Mini eLessons run approximately seven to 10 minutes and Safety Tips range in length from three to five minutes.
What if I need to stop a lesson once I’ve started?
That’s OK. Our training offers bookmarking capabilities. You can stop anywhere in a lesson, log off and return later to the same place where you left off to continue.
How much time do I have to take training once it has been assigned?
Check with your training administrator about any required completion dates, however, each eLearning assignment and reminder will include due dates. In most cases, you will be required to successfully complete an eLesson or a Course (a group of lessons) in a specific period of time: usually within two to four weeks of receiving the training assignment.
How many times can I take a lesson?
You can take a lesson once through to successful completion. If it includes a final test, you can return to the lesson as many times as it takes to score a passing grade.
Do I receive a certificate of completion?
Yes. At the successful completion of any standard eLesson you’ll be able to download and print a customized certificate.
Do you keep a record of my assignments and completed training?
Yes. Our system saves a record of every lesson assigned, opened or completed along with the corresponding dates. Your Profile page will display these details.
Can I purchase training for myself, family members or associates?
Yes. DrivActiv™ safe driving lessons can be purchased online with a credit card. This is a great way to help improve safety behind-the-wheel for yourself, family members, friends and business associates.
